Although most of our members reside in the Permian Basin area of West Texas and New Mexico, we serve anyone with an interest in the geology of the Permian Basin, including students and Geoscientists employed by industry and academia. We have implemented a virtual viewing platform at no cost, so our out-of-town members have the opportunity to attend our technical luncheons and be involved with the society, even when not local. One of the main ways we can keep the virtual option free is through memberships, so we encourage you to join and be a part of PBS-SEPM.

We continue to focus on our commitment to promote the science of Geology by inviting excellent speakers for our technical luncheons, providing scholarships to students pursuing a degree in geosciences, and hosting socials, field trips, core workshops, and other educational events for our members. This mission would not be possible without our members and supporters!
